Save the Queen’s Park Glasshouse

The Queen’s Park Glasshouse is a special place, cherished by generations of Glaswegians and visitors alike as a place for learning, play, sanctuary, conservation and many happy memories. Earlier this year, Glasgow City Council announced plans to close Queen’s Park Glasshouse without public consultation. The Friends of Queen’s Park oppose the closure and are committed to working with with the Council, community groups and other organisations to find a sustainable solution to maintain and refurbish this vital public asset so it can continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.
The public campaign
There is a campaign led by local residents to keep the Glasshouse open to the public. You can find out more about the Save the Queen’s Park Glasshouse campaign via their Linktree.
The Friends of Queen’s Park encourages residents of Glasgow to sign the petition appealing to the Council keep the Glasshouse free and open to the public.
