Volunteer gardening session Saturday 5th October, 10am – noon

Posted by Calum Tomeny. Date: April 15, 2024.

We’ll be meeting by the small pond in the Rose Garden, weeding and tidying up the bed we planted earlier in the year. We also hope to plant some teasels that are being kindly donated by a local resident, they can cope with the heavy soil in that area and the seed heads look lovely over winter.

This session will involve some light exercise, tools are provided – it’s open to all ages, under 16s should be accompanied by an adult please. You may wish to bring a water bottle or a drink, the Friends aim to provide tea or coffee – often also delicious homemade cake!

If you have questions or would like to help the Friends in some other capacity (e.g. social media, taking photographs, organising an event, fundraising, helping with some admin tasks) please do get in touch at volunteer@friendsofqueensparkglasgow.org.uk.
