Friends of Queens Park is holding a tree planting event on 30th November 2019 with the aim of planting as many new trees as possible as part of efforts to fight back against climate change. The Woodland Trust is sponsoring the event and FoQP is doing its bit locally. November is also the traditional time of year for planting new trees, so if you fancy planting your own tree sapling then you are welcome to come along to our event. Details below.

10 am-12 noon

Meeting at:

Park Gate opposite the Ivory Pub on Langside Avenue

Trees will be planted on Hill 60 behind the allotments. Tools and guidance are provided! Make sure you dress appropriately, so sturdy shoes, clothes for the season and a waterproof will help you stay comfortable.
