Volunteering in the Park – April 2018 onwards

Posted by Peter Batty. Date: March 28, 2018.

Spring has sprung and we’re out working in the Park again, aiming to tidy-up, weed, cut-back and make Queen’s Park glow for the summer.  It’d be great if you could and join us, spare an hour or two, enjoying the work and the banter!

All you need is solid footwear, waterproof jacket (if it rains) and possibly a bottle of water.

The sessions will take place on the following dates, times and meeting places:

  • Saturday 14th April, 10 am- 12 noon, Park Entrance, Langside Avenue, Opposite the Ivy Pub
  • Sat. 21st April, 10 am- 12 noon, Park Entrance, Langside Avenue, Opposite the Ivy Pub
  • Sat. 28th April, 10 am-12 noon, Park Entrance, Langside Avneue, Opposite the Ivy Pub
  • Thursday, 12th April and thereafter every following Thurs, 10am-12 noon, Poetry Corner/Rose Garden
