300th Anniversary of Duncan Ban MacIntyre

March 20th 2024 marks the 300 anniversary of the birth of one of Scotland’s most fascinating poets, Donnchadh Bàn Mac an t-Saoir or Duncan Ban MacIntyre. Duncan never learned to read or write, instead he composed and retained all his poetry in his memory. We want to celebrate his world and his achievement with piping, poetry and song on Sunday March 24th at the Scottish Poetry Rose Garden in the park. Watch out here for more details!
