Scottish Poetry/Rose Garden – ‘The Dig’ – Sunday 26^th February, 5^th March, 12^th March, 19^th March, 2-4 pm. 

Thanks very much to volunteers who managed along to cut-back/clear up round the wee building on Langside Avenue.  A great response; we got everything done within two hours.

We’re planning to plant the new rose bushes mid-March and over the next four Sundays 15 large holes need digging in preparation for the rose bushes. 

It’d be great if you could come along to help with digging, placing new soil and planting rose bushes – even if you can just manage an hour – that would be a real help.

We’ve got some spades and forks, but please bring along your own if you have one.  You’ll also need solid shoes and gardening gloves.

The Rose Garden is adjacent to Langside Avenue and easily accessed from park gate opposite Ivory Pub or park gate down from pedestrian crossing on Langside Avenue.
